New Music From Anoop Desai, Katharine McPhee

Anoop Desai released his first album, All Is Fair, this week. The eight-song album is a collection of R&B/pop songs that totally fit right in with today's musical landscape. I definitely hear a lot of Ne-Yo influences here (especially the title track). I'm really loving "Lost and Found". This song is killer.

You can buy Anoop's album on iTunes, or you can purchase directly through his store at AnoopDesai.com for highest sound quality and to support Anoop directly.

Also releasing new music this week was Katharine McPhee, who re-recorded "Terrified" with old friend and Chuck actor Zachary Levi. You would think this is a little bit of stunt casting, so to speak, but Zachary can actually sing, and the two of them sound terrific together. I kind of feel bad for Jason Reeves, who sings on the original track, but if he's upset, he can always cry his way to the bank because he could stand to make some good money as the songwriter of this song, along with Kara DioGuardi.

Entertainment Weekly has audio up on its website. If you like it, you can purchase the new single on iTunes or Amazon.com. The music video will premiere on Vevo on Friday.
