New Idol Items On iTunes

iTunes is featuring some new and old American Idol items for the new week, including the world premiere of Carrie Underwood's music video for "Temporary Home", plus discounted albums, the first single for Carly Smithson's new band We Are The Fallen, Kris Allen's Celebrity Playlist Podcast, Danny Gokey's music video, and discounted albums for Valentine's Day from Kris, Kelly Clarkson, Daughtry, Adam Lambert and Katharine McPhee.

The Temporary Home video is amazing. Very touching. And her acting skills have gotten sooooo much better. I'm surprised the video is being debuted here on iTunes and not on CMT or AOL or something like that. It got ripped to YouTube already. All three of Carrie's CDs are being discounted for $7.99 - Play On, Carnival Ride, and Some Hearts

We Are The Fallen's single "Bury Me Alive" is the single that the band gave away on their website when they first launched. If you missed it back then or if you want to buy it to support the band, you can buy it now.

Kris is featured prominently on the iTunes pop page for his celebrity playlist and discounted CD. His celebrity playlist podcast features the following songs:
1. High and Dry by Radiohead
2. Maybe (Live) by Alison Krauss & Union Station
3. Lover, You Should've Come Over by Jeff Buckley
4. Chaos by MuteMath
5. Electric Feel by MGMT
6. Out Of My Mind by John Mayer Trio
7. Sparks by Coldplay
8. A Song For You by Donny Hathaway
9. Texas Flood by Stevie Ray Vaughn & Double Trouble
10. Goodnight And Go by Imogen Heap

The podcast doesn't seem to be available at the moment, but it will be there at some point.

Danny's video for "My Best Days Are Ahead Of Me" is now available for purchase by clicking here.

Kris' self-titled CD Kris Allen is one of several CDs discounted for $7.99 on iTunes for Valentine's Day. Also available for that price are Kelly Clarkson's All I Ever Wanted, Daughtry's Leave This Town, Adam Lambert's For Your Entertainment, and Katharine McPhee's Unbroken.
