Adam Lambert Sings For Oprah And The Deaf

Adam Lambert (and Susan Boyle) performed and interviewed on the Oprah Winfrey Show today.

Adam sang his current single "Whataya Want From Me" for TV and the Pokemon soundtrack-sounding "If I Had You" for Oprah's website. There must have been some deaf folks in the audience because he was mimeing the lyrics of "If I Had You" on more than one occasion. Check him out at 0:15 on the line "black color liner" and 1:25 on "stripper heels" and "Maserati". There's also some prime action while he sings the terms "wild side" and "blow my mind".

"If I Had You":

No mimeing on "Whataya Want From Me":

BTW - Oprah? Queen Glambert. She cooed at him during his interview and rather passionately/enthusiastically sang along to both of his performances, as if she were auditioning for American Idol back in Season 2 or something.

"This is just a sampling of some of the things that happen when a record label signs an artist. As you can tell, the music business is not just parties and hanging out with rock stars. A record label must do a great deal of work to discover, sign, produce, promote, distribute and sell an album."
