Kelly Clarkson's CD looks so airbrushed to me. I still can't get past the whiteness of her teeth. She looks cute but unnatural. And it's very plain, with just a white background. Ruben Studdard's has an interesting background, but it's graffiti, and he has his eyes closed and is looking down. Fantasia's outfit kills me, and the background is so plain. Carrie Underwood looks great in hers, and the Little House In The Prairie background just screams Heartland and country music. So it's pretty perfect for her. Taylor Hicks looks angry on his. Jordin Sparks' cover is plain, and it makes her look so much older than "she's only 17!", which I didn't think fit with her sound. David Cook's CD ... oh man. I liked that they guyed it up, but that black/white with that particular photo? Eesh. It's been noted that Kris' CD is the only one where he's looking off to the side, but I think that makes it stand out. Plus, Kris' jawline is exquisite. I also like the color scheme. And I especially like the photo that was picked.
In my opinion, it's a toss-up between Carrie's and Kris' covers. Of course, it helps that they are amongst the best-looking Idols ever. The record labels SHOULD capitalize on their good looks.

Sometimes beauty is in the eye of the beholder. To me Carries teeth look just as white as Kellys, both look over air brushed. Taylor doesn't look mad, he looks serious. Kris looks girly.
Taylor, though handsome, looks like a hit man for the Mafia.
Clarkson, Underwood, Sparks and Allen are all good - take your choice. As for the rest -
Studdard - Face contorted from squinting into the sun.
Fantasia - Looks like she's trying on clothes
Hicks - The Godfather's apprentice - a really tough mob enforcer.
Cook - Looks like he's down and out and standing in a soup line.
Think they were trying to serious Hicks up because he was always grinnin and laughing on AI. But dang he looks good. Great bod.
Like the colors on his cover. Think I have to go with him.
If you want to talk airbrushing.... take a closer look at Kris. He is a good looking guy and doesn't need all that airbrushing.
I dislike Carrie... well all country music, but of all of them hers seems to reflect her style the best.
My problem with Carrie, is that I like country, and Carrie is not country. Maybe country pop. I was raised on country and enjoyed the music until a few years ago. The only real country singers at this time are Randy Travis, Alan Jackson and Brooks and Dunn.
Kris is hot. His album cover is the best by far.
Kelly's does not look like her at all.
Ruben's looks like he is wasted.
Fantasia looks like a hooker.
Carrie's looks too contrived.
Taylor does looked pissed.
Jordin's looks cheap.
I like David's cover. It fits him.
Of course Taylor looks pissed! The guy has talent and AI made him put a crappy CD out!
I think Taylor's is by far the best. It is the most colorful and has a nice layout. It also helps that he is such a handsome man. The other idols backgrounds are just too plain.

For Kris' photo, the image of him sitting alone in the theater, probably looking over his shoulder at the mob of folks surrounding Adam Lambert...
I feel sorry for Kris, but he does look somewhat down in the picture.
And Adam is getting all the press.

I don't get "all alone" business, especially when all the other covers are of each singer ALONE.
The others are alone against a generic backdrop.... Kris looks much more lonely sitting in that theater with a dozen empty seats around him....
Taylor looks handsome and sexxxy. He does,however, seems both sinister and mysterious. Chris seems rather introspective and boyish. All in all, I'll have to go with Taylor.
Yes, Kris is good looking, but so are David and Taylor. In fact they all seem to be cut from the same cloth -- they could be related.
