Idol tour director Raj Kapoor talks about how they tailored the sets specifically for the individual artists. For example, they have make Kris Allen's set more intimate in order to play up to his strength of being totally relatable to the audience. He'll be playing at the front of the stage and showing off his musical abilities. Raj also talked about how Heartless is going to be more like he did on the show but with a "rock edge" at the end.
Lil Rounds and Adam Lambert reflect on their audition a year ago. Lil got dressed in a porta-potty before her audition, and Adam knew he could sing but wasn't sure if he was what they were looking for.
Allison Iraheta and Scott MacIntyre talk about how much more room there is on the girls' bus, joking that there isn't even room for Phyllis (the mansion ghost) on the guys' bus. They also talk about how they use their nervousness and fear to their advantage onstage:
