What do you think of "The Riddle" by Nik Kershaw?
And what about "The Final Countdown" by Europe?
Another song could be "The Wind of Change" by scorpions...

Anonymous said...

I agree with the idea of "Africa" by Toto in the first position

Anonymous said...

sorry, but... you have to put jessie's girl in the top 10!!!

Whoever wrote this obivously doesn't know music! Love him or hate him the #1 song of the '80's has got to be Ozzy's "Crazy Train"! I know no one who can't resist cranking up the radio when that song comes on! It makes you go a hundred miles a minute! Tell me one other song with that much energy!

Journey - "Don't Stop Believing" needs to be top 3. Between that and "Livin' on a Prayer" are my 2 favorite songs of all time. Who can listen to either of those songs without erupting in horrible karaoke sounding, yet world uniting harmony?

Dr. Feelgood so deserved to be in the top 10 :\

Not an absolutely awful list, but not having any Tears for Fears, Smiths, New Order/Joy Div makes it close.

I just saw this list and the lack of Tears for Fears and the inclusion of lame fat women voting for lame bands at the top made me turn this off.

Anonymous said...

What a load of dreary, 80's, permed hair, soft rock crap.......... apart from the odd decent effort from the UK.

Anonymous said...

Free Fallin by Tom Petty was made in the 90's not the 80's
