Not only is Paula Abdul the talk of morning talk shows after her incoherent and insensitive babblings on Thursday's American Idol results show (I'm still trying to decipher what she was saying), but now there's word that she breached security at the Las Vegas airport that afternoon.
According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Paula was late trying to catch her Southwest Airlines flight to Burbank when a Southwest rep took her past security and onto the plane, bypassing security. When the plane landed, it was announced that security had been breached, so the passengers had to go through re-screening again.
Maybe Paula was mixing her medication with some alcohol there while wondering if she was going to get busted for this security violation. That might explain her bizarro comments to the contestants. First, when asked by Ryan Seacrest why Kinnik and Heather were up for elimination, she said, "Simon says because one of them ate pizza and the other one ate salad." Then, when it was Sway and Kevin up on stage, her advice to them was "Simon gave me advice, and he said on the X-Factor that he always refers to a fortune cookie and says the moth who finds the melon ... No, finds the cornflake, always finds the melon, and one of you didn’t get the right fortune cookie."
